# Positioning Bones

This step is needed when you are creating a fully custom vehicle. If this is an edit of an existing car, skip this step and go to next one.

Bones can be easily moved in Edit mode. To move them:
1. Switch to **Solid Mode**
2. Toggle **X-Ray**
3. Choose a bone you want to move
4. Select it in 3D View
5. Click on Move icon
6. Move the bone using gizmo.
